PROFIL
En af mine store interesser er IT. Igennem min studietid har jeg søgt at lære nye programmeringssprog og udnytte disse i den virkelige verden, bl.a. ved at starte egen IT-konsulentvirksomhed.
En anden interesse er at rejse rundt i verden. Jeg finder det interessant at opleve fremmede kulturer og møde nye mennesker. Det har lært mig at være selvstændig og følge min intuition. Samtidig har jeg også lært, at man kommer langt med en positiv indstilling.
Jeg arbejder struktureret, målrettet og er god til at have flere bolde i luften på en gang. Ligeledes evner jeg at igangsætte opgaver og følge dem helt til dørs.

Eksportingeniør 
Eksportingeniøruddannelsen er normeret til 4½ år studier inklusive ½ års ingeniørpraktik i en dansk eller udenlandsk virksomhed. Undervisningen på eksportingeniøruddannelsen består af klasseundervisning og enkelte forelæsninger. Der er projektarbejde, og derudover skal man udføre øvelser og laboratoriearbejde.

Afgangsprojekt - Services for ERP Solutions [IBM]
Abstract
The objective of this report is to determine if it is possible to sell services to businesses in the Danish SMB market, that are going to implement or have already implemented the MBS Navision Axapta ERP solution.
It is sought to find out if it is possible for IBM ITS to sell already existing services to businesses on the SMB market who are going to or are using the Navision Axapta solution.
Today IBM ITS is not present on the Danish SMB ERP market. It is not completely known why this is so. It is thought, by management, that there are great possibilities in the market. This is based on the fact that similar services are being sold.
Initially, secondary data from the internet, current reports and news sites was collected to give a basic understanding of the Danish market. The primary data for the report has been collected through a series of interviews with both Microsoft, distributors of Navision Axapta and end users based on a question battery.
The environment and technologies have been described, followed by an analysis of the interviews. From there important findings have been further analysed and structured to be clarified and conclude on them.
From financial calculations it is shown, that using services from IBM, cooperating with partners, can result in savings. The savings achieved by using IBM's services offerings are to be seen as released resources, that the business can take advantage of. How much is utilized of the released resources depend on what the business chooses to do.
On the basis of both the mercantile and financial analysis it is concluded that the possibility for IBM ITS selling services is present. It is, however, not without challenges. As the situation is today, the way to overcome the challenges and enter the Navision Axapta market is to involve partners, such as ISV's, ASP's and hosting businesses.

Formål: Formålet med mødet den 13. juni 2003 bliver den endelige fastlæggelse af rammerne for hjemmesiden. Gennem præsentationen vil strukturen samt prioteringen af de mange løsningsmuligheder og en vurdering af de økonomiske konsekvenser ved implenteringen fastlægges.

Praktik ved Giga - an Intel Company i Product Marketing

This is to certify that Martin Stub has been working in the Product Marketing Department of Optical Component Division (OCD) at Intel Corporation in the period September 2nd, 2002 through January 28th, 2003.
As a trainee, Martin has entered into the OCD PHY Marketing Department as a full time employee, working on internal and external related Marketing assignments individually, as well as on a team basis.
Among the assignments that Martin has been working on in his trainee period are:
- Collecting and presenting data on customer base for OCD PHY target customers across the world.
- Development of the first combined OCD PHY Customer presentation covering both the PMA and PMD product lines. Presentation has been posted on internal field sales databases, and is used by Marketing and field as new customer engagement presentation.
- Collection of input and development of OCD PHY selection guide that has been posted on internal field sales database, for use by field as product reference tool.
- Participant in PDT (Product Development Team) where he has assisted Marketing colleague in driving development of the OCD's first CMOS SerDes (Serializer/DeSerializer).
- Participant in customer meetings, where he has assited Marketing colleague in driving strategic important customer design win activities for OCDs newest range of CDR (Clock Data Recovery) components.
- Participant in small project team exploring feasibility of entering into new business/technology segment, where he has assisted Marketing colleagues in gathering and reviewing market information.
It has been a pleasure to work with Martin in his trainee period and I wish him all the best in his future career as an Export Engineer.

Projekt - International Markedsføring af Business to Business Systemer [Maersk Data og Ericsson]
Abstract
Wireless communication within the health care sector is something that is not yet seen. However, the future will soon change the conception of that. This project describes the future in long distance wireless monitoring of patients with cardiac deceases.
We have been working with a subsidiary company to MAERSK IT, called MECOM. And through them we received the task to find, assess and evaluate future prospects regarding a device that MECOM, in co-operation with a partner, had developed. The main task was initially to find a niche where the possibilities for the device could be specified. The attention was quickly turned towards the health care sector where focus was turned in the direction of people with heart diseases.
This showed to form the basis for the project. A fieldtrip to Germany was among other things what was done in order to gather the most accurate information possible, to form an idea and contemplate the next step.
The result of the investigation was overwhelming, since no one had expected the positive result achieved. One of the main goals after the information retrieval was to create a solution enabling hospitals to increase the average turnaround time for patients and make it possible to monitor them in real-time at the same time.
A conceivable solution was found, which includes three units, one from DANICA containing the heart-measuring unit, one from MECOM containing the transmitting device and last the mobile phone from ERICSSON.
Throughout the development a constant watchful eye has been kept on the project, in order to anticipate any unforeseen obstacles that could hamper the development process. The result and outcome from our investigation is that the project in general is a GO.
However, we can also predict that a one-unit solution where all three units are converted into a single unit alternative will be the future. And in the future it will only be the fantasy, which sets the boundaries for a future solution and services.

Abstract
The main purpose of this project is to combine the three general aspects of business; product development, production management, and marketing. The overall object is to design, produce and market a new solution for air-cargo transportation, improving the efficiency of securing cargo on pallets and improving the work procedure. We found that our target group is larger transportation companies and airlines.
We have based our product design on a user investigation where the needs and demands towards the RollerNet were specified. On the basis of the user investigation we have been working with a design that had to live up to the following:

The result is unfortunately that we are not able to construct the RollerNet so it will live up to the current regulations under FAA, NAS and IATA. We did however have an opportunity to change some parts on the RollerNet but the weight would then increase to unacceptable heights and would be dismissed from the future users.
We have in the manufacturing phase been working with cyclical scheduling and Just-In-Time according to the respective production principles. Calculations from marketing regarding the number of RollerNets needed, forms the basis for the use of Wilson's formula and Gantt charts.
The conclusion to this report has been that the RollerNet is not able to meet the standards required in today's aviation. There is however an interest for an alternative to the net which is used in the industry today.

Projekt - Livscyklusvurdering af Porebeton & Murstenstegl [H+H Celcon]
Indledning
Projektgruppen har i forbindelse med Miljø-2 valgt at beskæftige sig med en sammenlignende livscyklus-vurdering af henholdsvis en teglmurværks- og en porebeton-konstruktion. Baggrunden for dette er at undersøge om kvaliteterne for H+H Celcon's nye 400 mm. multiblok kan stå mål med en traditionel murværkskonstruktion.
Hensigten har dermed været at vurdere de miljøbelastende faktorer, der indvirker på livscyklusfaserne for de respektive konstruktioner. Dette er foretaget på baggrund af udvalgte repræsentative kilder, der alle dækker behovet for udarbejdelse af en livscyklusvurdering. Der er bl.a. valgt at fokusere på driftsfasen, hvor der til forskel fra en traditionel LCA fokuseres på varme-tabsberegningen for de to konstruktioner, idet der i denne fase formentlig på sigt vil være en markant energimæssig besparelse imellem de to.
Der er foretaget en dybdegående sammenlignende livscyklusanalyse af følgende faser.
- Indvinding af råvarer og Transport til fabrik
- Produktion og Transport til byggeplads
- Drift- & vedligehold
Herudover kommenteres faserne "opførelse", "nedrivning", samt "bortskaffelse/genanvendelse".
I dette livscyklus forløb er såvel murstenstegl, stenuld og porebeton behandlet. I denne behandling indgår vurderinger af materialernes og bygningernes levetid. For hvert led i livscyklusen er indsamlet data til brug for den samlede vurdering inden for områderne:

Projekt - Analyse og vurdering af Bølgehøvlen [WavePlane International A/S]
Abstract
The report provides an analysis of a Wave Energy Converter (Abbreviated WEC), in this case the Waveplane. Divisions are made between technological, economic and environmental aspects.
The technological analysis imparts a description of the function and design of this relatively recently invented device. It consists of information such as the energy-to-electricity transformation, components, dimensions, intricate energy theory, anchoring, etc.
The economic aspect includes a cost/benefit analysis. Calculations are made for three different energy-efficiency levels, in order to estimate the number of WECs required to reach the break-even point, from where on profitability exceeds total costs. Profitability is computed according to placement in Danish and Irish waters. The results divulge that at the current stage of research and development, basis for placement of waveplane WECs in Denmark, only seems cost-effective with a 50% efficiency. This is primarily due to the great placement cost exacted by the electricity cable. Installation in Ireland for example, however, suggests a more worthwhile investment. The mean annual wave energy potential and the reduced initial costs makes it possible to extract higher operating profit from wave-energy converting.
The environmental analysis takes a benefit/disadvantage-based approach in relation to the operation of the WEC.
Relevant environmental policies are initially described, and applicable subsidies from Danish and European Union environmental programs are listed. Energy21 and Kyoto-agreements present guidelines and commitment to furthering Renewable Energy Sources (RES), imposing sanctions on eventual countries which fail to comply. This will lead to economical viability for RES, including wave-energy.
Alternative applications of the WEC are commented upon. The environmental impact is commented on by a Marine Biologist considering impact to be placement-dependent.
